The very first thing to consider is the budget, and whether I like it or not, it will consume more than half or mainly 60% of the budget for the venue alone. I'm a typical bride so I prefer hands-on work with some work force and help from friends and family members.
Wooaaah! I still really don't know what to decide with all the stuffs I researched. I've been researching venues that offers the lowest packages and I still don't agree with the numbers of food entrees they can offer. There are also a lot of coordinators who can help, but for me its not practical enough to have one since I have friends who can make coordination for my wedding. With regards to the food, I just want to have it catered outside the venue since I also have friends whom I can ask for discounts. But I haven't seen a venue who allowed outside catering. OMG! it stresses me so much.
My fiance told me that we could celebrate the reception in the house. WHAAAATTT? our houses can't even cater 50 guests! and we're expecting 200 guests! How should we do that? God Help us. Well, maybe the main plan is to find a venue that allows us to do what exactly we want to do for our budget. Next is, maningkamot ug maningtiil (a visayan term for working harder to gain more money) God will provide anyway.
Thanks for reading everyone!. Coming soon, I'll be posting my invitation letters and favors for other brides who wants DIY (do it yourself) ideas in making stuffs for weddings without breaking a bank.
See Ya'll!!
Maybe You can help!!!!
